Mr.
Farb is currently Executive Director of the Trust for Science, Technology and Research, San Juan Puerto Rico. From July
2008 to December 2010, he founded and was President of Estabrook Ventures, LLC providing
interim management services, business plan development and angel investments to several medical companies. Mr. Farb is focusing
on unmet needs in the pediatric area, converged products, healthcare quality and patient safety.
From
2006 to 2008, Mr. Farb was President & Chief Operating Officer of Indevus Pharmaceuticals
(NASDAQ: IDEV), Lexington, MA, an $80 million revenue company developing and marketing pharmaceuticals and devices to urologists
and endocrinologists. Mr. Farb implemented a strategy of utilizing its 100 person sales force to sell both drugs and devices
to the same physician call points. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Farb participated
in the private equity and venture capital industries. In 2003 he co-founded and was Managing Director
of the Boston- and Shanghai-based private equity firm, New America Partners, where he led several investments
in China including in WuXi Pharmatechs (NYSE: WX) and co-led the establishment of a China-based joint venture
fund with the City of Shanghai. From 1998 to 2003 Mr. Farb was General Partner of the private equity firm,
Summit Partners. Summit has approximately 150 employees and $11 billion under management. Previously, from 1994 to 1998, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
of Interneuron Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: IPIC), a company developing and marketing drugs for central nervous
system (CNS) indications, antimicrobicides (using combinatorial chemistry) and cancer therapeutics (using gene therapies).
He was primarily responsible for the operations of the company during its rapid growth period to $75 million in revenues. From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Farb was Vice President of Business Development and Chief Financial Officer
of Cytyc Corporation (NASDAQ: CYTC), a diagnostics and device company focusing on women’s health, recently
acquired by Hologic (NASDAQ: HOLX). While at Cytyc, the Company launched its ThinPrep device and he was instrumental
in developing the business plan for an applied genomics colon cancer screening test which was spun out and subsequently went
public (Exact Sciences, NASDAQ: EXAS). Mr. Farb is or previously was a member of
the following boards of directors, among others: Asia-America

Farber Cancer Institute, Visiting Committee, Boston, MA; Fair
Isaac (NYSE:FIC), Minneapolis, MN, software for mortgage credit scoring and risk management; HNC Software (NASD: HNCS), San Diego, CA, a real-time analytics
company focusing on credit card and insurance fraud (acquired by Fair Isaac); Redwood Trust (NYSE: RWT), Mill Valley, CA, real estate investment trust;
Saf-T-Med, Chicago, IL, producer
of medical safety syringes (sold to Becton Dickinson); Symon
Communications, Plano, TX, manufacturer of messaging and alerting systems; Zencheng Power Corporation, Guangzhou, China, an electric power plant.
Mr. Farb graduated with a B.A. from Harvard College, 1980 and lives in Concord, Massachusetts.
